Meet Harper
Height to Withers:
16 inches
Harper's Story:
Harper came to our attention at an overcrowded high kill shelter in downtown Los Angeles. She was found by animal control in a cement aqueduct with an injury to one of her front paws. As she was nearing the end of her stray hold, we were notified that she did not currently have interested adopters and would be soon added to their euthanasia list. She was completely overstimulated by the shelter environment and passed the time in her kennel by obsessively jumping at the gate. It was not a great first impression to most potential adopters! As soon as we met her, we knew she just needed something to do with all of her brain power and athleticism. She blossomed outside of the shelter immediately and has turned into the type of dog that can perform any kind of action required. She loves children and perfects everything we teach her. Nothing phases this athletic little girl!
